One review from Disc and Music Echo, when this excellent album saw release, spoke of how the music "leapt from the grooves" - and I would have to say that's an imaginative but accurate description. King Crimson were, and are still, at a different type of depth when it comes to Progressive Rock and innovation. Suspenseful, sophisticated, yet with an accessibility that's easy to appreciate. There's a classical piece on this too, and the terrain of the music varies....while never seeming incongruous to the overall album sound. Appropriately ending with the beautiful epic 'Islands' track, it makes for indulgence that can only make the mind feel well fed!
In decent playing shape, rapidly becoming a sought-after rock gem!
The vinyl is EX+, nice sheen - and plays well throughout.
The palm-tree Lables grade NM
The single-sleeve flipback card cover grades VG+ with light wear, the inner foldout lyric cover has the (usual) seam separation and grades VG due to this.
