Description
I’ve been an eBay member for over 17 years with over 1700 100% positive feedback. This is a relatively new account for music and memorabilia only.
Records are visually graded, but I do listen to intros for crackle and clarity, and play through any marks.
KING CRIMSON – ISLANDS – 1st PRESSING – A-1U/B-1U – VG
1st pressing from 1971. No serious surface marks, but quite a lot of sleeve lines and other light hairlines in a bright light. I haven’t played it all, but I did hear a bit of crackle in the quieter parts that I tried, hence my VG grading.
Run-ins are almost silent except for a couple of “swishes” on side two. Apart from the above, the parts I played sounded great.
It does still have the distinctive gatefold inner, but it’s a bit dirty and the edges have been taped. Cover rather scuffed on edges and corners.
I’ve probably been rather over critical as it’s a playable copy with 50 year old covers, and I think I’ve priced it accordingly.
