King Crimson
In The Court of the Crimson King
Includes inserts.
The vinyl is a super-clean, looks-unplayed Near-Mint copy.
The jacket is Near-Mint as well:
NO compression mark,
NO split-seams at all,
NO ring-wear at all.
Here are some interesting facts about this Mobile Fidelity pressing:
The Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab release of
"In The Court Of The Crimson King" was never
formally "distributed" - any copies that slipped out were
recalled under penalty of a massive lawsuit naming both
Altlantic Records and MFSL, brought by on by Robert Fripp's E.G. Records.
Execs at Atlantic routinely thought (assumed) that they
owned the original recording, as they did most of
their catalog at the time, and that they therefore had the right to license it.
They did not!
ITCOTCK had already been licensed to Atlantic by EG,
and the licensing period for it had expired.
EG was just about to start its new licensing agreement with
JEM records!
So, as rare as near-mint vinyl releases from MFSL are,
this particular title is rarer still.
Copies have gone for several hundred dollars in the past, so bid appropriately.
This record will only be shipped by insured and trackable means,
such as Insured Priority Mail w/Signature Confirmation,
or I will ship worldwide using USPS Global Express Mail.

or go to www.usps.com and calculate from NYC 10012
to your country. Add $3 packing/materials fee to the
actual postage for 1 pound 6 ounces.
I will very carefully seperate the vinyl from the jacket,
and use a heavy duty cardboard LP mailer (like I always do),
plus several extra layers of cardboard filler pad to make
an extremely solid package.
