This is KING CRIMSON In the Court of the Crimson King LP on Atlantic Records SD 8245 Stereo, first USA pressing from 1969. In original factory shrink wrap with clear hype sticker. This is the Monarch pressing. Dead wax on Side A ST-A-69699-CC-MO-RE (MR) LW AT (triangle) 14125 W

The COVER VG+ Has original factory shrink wrap. It has some tears as described: the top left corner has a tear 4" tear along the spine that connects on the back to a 6" diagonal tear in the shrink. A 2x3 " piece is missing. (see photos)Bottom right corner has a 1 " tear in the shrink with a very small piece missing and a 1 " worn area on the bottom seam where the shrink is torn. Textured cover. Has a little shelf wear at the opening. The back has a previos owners name in blue ink at the opening that is hard to see.Also written is the date November 26, 1969 and No.226. There is a quarter inch scrape on the back near the opening on the planet(see photo). No splits. No bends. There are no delete marks or cut outs. No tape. Solid cover
The VINYL VG+ Play graded both sides. This vinyl gets an VG+ for sound quality. Visually VG ++. Just listened to both sides and I didn't hear anything on the first side. The second side starts with a quiet song and had some light crackle for 45 seconds. Later I heard a light tick and then a louder one. I don't have upper end equipment. Visually, the vinyl is very shiny and only a few very light surface scratches. I saw one. Apparently, affecting the playback in the crackle area. Awesome sound quality. This record has been played. Crank it up . Checked the discs for any warping and it does have a slight stoge warp that does not affect the sound quality. Sounds VG+. Looks VG++.
The LABELS NM When held on an angle under a bright light, I could not see any spindle trails or spindle hole wear. No writing.
The SLEEVES VG generic poly sleeve. Not original.
All records will be mailed in sturdy, recycled record specific mailer boxes with extra padding. Disc will be removed from jacket and picture sleeve to eliminate splitting caused by transit shifting.
