Description
What I’m offering is a non-cutout copy of the LP by King Crimson titled In The Court Of The Crimson King, issued on Atlantic SD-8245 in 1969.
The grading on the LP is EX cover, NM record.
The cover, which is in its original shrinkwrap and is the original coarse cover and not the later semi-glossy cover, has tiny wear spots in both bottom corner tips. For better or worse depending on how you look at it, the previous owner taped the shrinkwrap around the perimeter of the cover including inside the gatefold. He did this very neatly and it looks very nice, and quite frankly, it has protected this course cover from wear for the last 45+ years. There is also a King Crimson hype sticker on the front shrinkwrap.
The record, which is the 2nd press record with the 75 Rockefeller Plaza address, comes in its original Atlantic inner sleeve and has a few inner sleeve marks on side two that are totally inaudible and does not affect its play. There are no scuffs or scratches to side one.
You should be very happy with this LP.
