KING CRIMSON - IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING 

ISLAND PINK RIM PALM TEXTURED LABEL 1970 SECOND UK PRESSING WITH MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE, VINYL LOOKS IN NEAR MINT BARELY PLAYED CONDITION.

Originally released in 1969, I am offering today this original second UK pressing on the pink rim palm ISLAND label of this classic debut album by KING CRIMSON titled "IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING". The album visually is in near mint condition, but typical of these Island pressings it plays with some light background noise on occasion noticeable on "MOONCHILD" but with no sticks or skips etc. The person who I acquired this from claimed it was a Different mix to his A2 B2 pink pressing but this is something I cannon confirm.

The album comes complete with its original matt gatefold sleeve,  which is in excellent condition cleaner than most you will find. It is not mint but it is free from unwanted writing or sticker tears etc and the spine is fully legible but the corners are worn and on the back panel 4.5 inches down from the top on the opening there is a 5 mil tear and a cm down from that is a 3 mil tear which if you look at my photograph is not too noticeable.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc.

   

 

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks in near mint barely played condition. Audibly I have played It through and it plays with light background noise needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc. 

The SLEEVE, The matt gatefold sleeve is in cleaner than most condition and the spine is fully legible but shows some corner wear and has 2 tiny tears which I mentioned earlier.  

The LABELS, The second issue pink rim palm Island labels are clean, Needless to say they are free from stickers or tears etc.

The INNER, The original generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or splits etc.

 

 

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
