Description
Rare early 70s Island Records UK repress of King Crimson's all-time classic debut album, with Island "pink rim" palm tree labels. Awesome warm analog sound on the original UK vinyl, much better than the US Atlantic pressings. This is the extra rare pressing cut by the legendary George Peckham ("Porky" and "Pecko" in the vinyl runouts), maybe the best version ever (in my humble opinion).
VPI cleaned, record in strong VG+ condition, plays remarkably clean, just a tiny bit of light surface noise on the quietest parts (no skips, pops, ticks, etc). The iconic gatefold cover is strong VG to VG+, some edge wear and some sticker residue in the upper left corner of the front cover, otherwise looks really good for its age.
Packed and shipped with care. You can combine any records I am selling for a significant shipping discount. Thanks.
