PLEASE NOTE..EU buyers will HAVE to pay tax on this..It's out of my control!.
I am having a mini clear out of stuff I no longer need..So have a look at my other items...I can combine post..
Clean copies of the first pressing of this album are getting so hard to find!..
Their second album...Ian McDonald has jumped ship,soon to be followed by Greg Lake and Michael Giles Leaving Fripp in charge...At times the music on this album is beautiful at other times challenging and disturbing..You either love it or you don't...There is no middle ground..
Issued on Island in 1970...ILPS 9127..UK pressing on the textured label..Complete with a textured,non laminated,E.J.Day gatefold sleeve..The matrix numbers are A2/B2...
Visually the record looks EX as it only has a few light hairlines...Both sides play EX..No clicks,no pops and an absolute minimal of surface noise..No sticking..No jumping and no edge warps....
Played on a JVC deck with a Sure cartridge at 2G..
The labels are undamaged..(Slight wear through the pink in small areas on both label rims)..There is moderate spindle wear...This has had regular but careful play..
The sleeve has a few minor defects...Light edge and cornerwear...A hint of ringwear on the back...Some rubbing to the spine...A very discreet name inside the gatefold (Top of the back flap)...Slight wear to the spine edges.....No seam splits,rips,tears,scribble or other such defects....
Plain white inner sleeve..(Pink Islands did not come with the blue Island inner which appeared with the move to "Pink Rim" labels)..
