Stamper Matrixes Av2 and B//2
Despite all those offers on eBay reading "1st press" but having A2/B3 or A2/B4 stamper Matrixes the Av2 B//2 is the one and only real first pressing.
The Vinyl: EXCELLENT(+)
Except for a very few fine hairlines when angled into direct light the surfaces ar clean and shiny. One tiny surface mark on the title track.
Playback: EXCELLENT (+)
Fantastic clean, crisp and full bodied sound. A tiny mark on the title track produces a handful very moderate clicks but this is during a loud passage and not intrusive at all. "Moonchild" plays astoundingly clean and only has moderate vinyl roar in some of the quietest passages. This track is usually notorious for being ruined on most copies but not on this one!
Orignal E.J.Day Gatefold-Sleeve: EXC+
Original non-laminated Sleeve with not much to critize. A very small rub-off from a former sticker on upper right front, mild spine rubbing but spine is strong and clearly readable.
Original Inner-Sleeve: EXC-
Some creases and mild yellowing from age, no seam-splits! A small number in biro on upper corner towards opening edge. British Patent No.800513 & 973939.
I grade my records on High-End equipment using the Lyra Delos cartridge with 1.75 grams tracking force through a Tube-Preamplifer feeding active Monitor-Speakers.
All records are cleaned on a Keith Monks Record Cleaning Machine and stored in Nagaoka Inner Sleeves. I pack safely and only ship by registered mail with full Insurance. All sales are final. I will only accept a return and credit of sales price if the returned item reaches me in the very same condition I sold it.
