Here we have a first pressing on the pink Island “I” label STEREO in gatefold sleeve with the printed by E J Day Limited credit ( see photo 5) with a very early MATRIX

CONDITION
Sleeve EXCELLENT gatefold with iconic cover painting
Slight wear to rear bottom edge sleeve and slight loss of colour/tanning to the spine ( see photo 5) just a hint of ring wear on bottom edge of rear sleeve.
VINYL Side One
Vinyl visually EXCELLENT and Audibly EXCELLENT - one light pop for 1 revolution at end of track 1 side one . 1 further pop for 1 revolution near the start of “I talk to the wind” very mild crackles in the quietest sections
Side Two
Vinyl visually JUST UNDER EXCELLENT and Audibly JUST UNDER EXCELLENT
3 Faint surface marks on track one and some small paper scuffs midway track two
Faint crackles at the start and in the quietest sections of “Moonchild” 1 faint pop for 3 revolutions midway 1 further mild pop for 1 revolution and 3 further pops towards the end of the track .
This particular Lp has been played a few times - but has been very well looked after and considered a cherished recording and rightly so !!
A valuable superb iconic album that I suspect will continue to grow in importance in the future !
