KING CRIMSON '' LARKS' TONGUES IN ASPIC '' A UK FIRST PRESSING. ISLAND RECORDS ILPS 9230 . YEAR OF RELEASE 1973 . A-2U / B-2U matrices' , 'SARK' hand-etched Side 1 run-off. VINYL FULLY AND CAREFULLY TESTED . TOP COPY !
SLEEVE EXCELLENT. Light shelfwear and creasing (top left- there's been a bend ). The odd light blemish / corner-rub. See photos. Original inner sleeve(one split) is interesting as at some stage (many years past) somebody has affixed (stuck), cut-outs to the sleeve ! One side has full lyrics ( from an original ? ) , the other a photocopied concert review Bristol Colston Hall with photocopied ticket stub Sunday March 25th , at £ 1.00 !
VINYL AS STATED ABOVE IS MINT minus ( ie it's not new ) . IMMACULATE TO THE EYE AND EAR. Those familiar with this album will be aware there are some very quiet and subtle passages throughout the LP. I don't believe you will find a better vinyl unless it's been vaulted and unplayed . I heard only a few 'pips' on Side 2. Near perfect !
