Description
HERE is a UK stereo pressing of King Crimson's brilliant 1973 LP, Larks' Tongues in Aspic, on pink rim island.
This is a true first pressing with 1/1 mother stampers, machine-stamped A-2U/B-2U matrix endings and 'SARK' etched on side one together with the Basing Street, London, company address on the unlaminated sleeve.
The attractive pink rim island labels are in VG+ condition with no unwanted writing, no sticker residue and no tears, while close examination under light reveals moderate traces of spindle marks. Both sides of the vinyl also look VG+ with fine surface marks showing when examined under strong halogen light, but certainly no deep or feelable scratches.
The single sleeve is in solid VG condition with lovely straight edges and no unwanted writing and no rips but a little light ringwear, a few light indentations and slight discolouration of the white rear panel, top and bottom (see photos).
