KING CRIMSON - LIZARD
First Press of a Classic Album, released on the Island Pink Rim Label, ILPS-9141, 1970.
Matrix numbers ILPS 9141 A - 2U / B - 2U
GRADING
- Vinyl - visually, a very clean and shiny copy, with no obvious scratches or other marks, just very light paper marks. The Pink Rim labels show only one or two apparent spindle marks. In play, there is generally little discernible background noise although, inevitably, one or two very light crackles are audible during the very quiet start to Cirkus. Great playing copy, overall - Excellent
- Sleeve - the laminated gatefold sleeve has slight feathering at the edges and a small bump to the bottom right corner. The laminate is in excellent condition, apart from minor cracking along the spine. No evidence of ring wear - Excellent

GRADING OF VINYL RECORDS
It will inevitably be subjective, but I've tried to grade by the Record Collector standard. All records undergo an initial visual grading under strong light. Any marks in the vinyl which may be significant result in partial or complete playing.
EXCELLENT (EX) The record itself shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
I don’t have records outside these three categories and I don’t believe in Mint! To bridge the gulf between VG and EX, I use VG+; VG/EX and EX-
PACKAGING
Records will be wrapped in Clingfilm, with a double corrugated card outer.
REFUNDS and RETURNS
In the event that an item is lost or damaged in the Post, I will have a Certificate of Posting, which I can send to you to make a claim up to £34. Over this amount, special arrangements may be made.
I have done my best to grade this item accurately. Should you feel that the item is sufficiently at odds with my description, I will provide a full auction price refund upon return (within seven days of receipt) of the item, provided negative feedback is not given. There will be no renegotiation of the final auction price.
