UK FIRST PRESSING PINK RIM LABEL VINYL LP IN LAMINATED 'ROBOR LIMITED' GATEFOLD WITH ORIGINAL WHITE INNER SLEEVE. This copy is a mid-period first pressing, probably early 1971. It has first pressing matrix numbers, early mothers and mid-period first pressing run stampers. By this time, the sleeve had been reprinted and instead of E.J. Day it was printed by Robor Limited, the only difference being Island's Basing Street address was gone from under the Island logo. The main thing is that this is a very clean first matrix pressing playing copy, increasingly hard to find these days.

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD BUT DOES HAVE SHELF AND EDGE WEAR., MINOR CORNER BUMPS, EDGE NICK, REAR CREASE IN LAMINATE. INNER VERY GOOD.

DISC: EXCELLENT MINUS VINYL WITH NO SCRATCHES AND MINIMAL SPINDLE WEAR, SOME HAIRLINES. BOTH SIDES PLAY EXCELLENT MINUS, JUST THE LIGHTEST OF STATIC IN QUIET PASSAGES THAT IS FOUND ON EVERY CRIMSON ALBUM WE HAVE EVER HEARD. A VERY DECENT PLAYING COPY.
