LABEL no.: ILPS 9141

COVER: VG+. Soft laminated gatefold cover printed by EJ Day Group, London. Solid and clean with slight corner wear, bit of creasing near spine area.

VINYL: VG+.  Shiny and clean, has some light scuffs.

LABEL CONDITION: pink rim Island palm tree labels have a few spindle marks.

COMMENTS: UK original album. FIRST PRESSING with A2/B2 stampers and hard to find EJ Day cover. Also has inverted text on spine!!! Original inner record sleeve.  After vocalist Greg Lake split from Crimson to form EL&P, Gordon Haskell played bass and sang much of the vocals.  The album turned out more of a progressive/jazzy album than Haskell perferred and he split shortly after.  This classic Crimson LP has some really great tracks, such as Circus, Indoor Games, and the lengthy title track.

This is my 15th year of successfully selling records on eBay!!  I take extreme care in buying and selling ONLY vinyl that is NEAR MINT, or very close to it.  My goal is to keep the dream alive for the art of collecting and selling PROMOTIONAL albums, from the 60's and 70's in jazz and rock n' roll.  PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's.  AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!! 

ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!

I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!!   FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
