KING CRIMSON STARLESS AND BIBLE BLACK 1974 LP ATLANTIC PROMO DJ COPY Rare. This comes from my personal collection. I worked at the radio station in college back in the 70's and was able to take with me some really cool relics when I left. This is one of the best. Not because the music is rare or anything - it's been reissued millions of times (exaggeration). But the notes on the front and the back from the DJs & my notes as music director take you back when everyone was wrapping their heads around exactly how to broadcast this album technically. The dynamics were way beyond anything else we played and we played this A LOT. As MD I was particularly pushing it. Pictures show some of those notes: where DJs noted the tracks they liked on the front and my warning/recommendation on the back on Starless and Bible Black. My favorite is written after Lament (I should have pictured it) "ENDS" so cold. you won't believe! Cover is pretty marked up with writing which is part of the charm. Does have a 2-3 inch split at the bottom. Haven't had a turntable in forever but record is free of visible scratches. If you need additional photos just contact me.
