Description
KING CRIMSON - STARLESS AND BIBLE BLACK A3U/B3U MATRIX 1R/1A STAMPERS Year:1974 Cat: ILPS 9275
- On offer here is a fine sounding original first press of this sought after King Crimson LP.
- The textured thick cardboard gatefold Robor sleeve is perfectly flat with no signs of rubbing to the edges at all. Being such a delicate light coloured sleeve however there is inevitably very slight grubbiness towards the outer edges under strong light. Inside the gatefold is immaculate. Sleeve Graded at least EX
- The original lyric inner is fully intact with no splits and just a couple corner creases - graded EX
- Under strong light the vinyl has great gloss and that "just pressed" look. Side 1 is completely unmarked and Side 2 has only one hairline visible when angled to the light. Visually Graded EX+ Side 1 has SARC in the dead wax and Side 2 has Sean & Ray. The Palm Tree labels are in near mint condition with NO spindle trails. Like many Crimson records, when played there is great dynamic range from loud passages to virtual silence. Playgraded EX+
- The photos should show enough detail but please contact me if any more information is needed. Watch my auctions for more great rock classics, add me to your favourite sellers. Please contact me if any more information is required.

- My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
+ or - indicates a grading in between categories
