Click to view supersized image After a hiatus while changing locations, I'm back with some killer auctions I will be rolling out over the next few weeks. This week it's a prog auction with some ultra-rarities. This LP is rarer than rare--a MONO white label promo of the 3rd King Crimson LP, "Lizard". These mono promos were pressed for AM radio, so you can only imagine how few of these were pressed, since Crimson weren't exactly burning up the AM airwaves at the time! Probably the rarest Crimson LP in existence, and this is the ONLY way you will ever hear this mix. The LP is VG+, with only light marks which hardly affect play--plays great! Near Mint labels with hardly any spindle wear. The heavy laminated gatefold jacket grades VG+/VG++, with no seam splits or writing, but some of the laminate has come off the middle of the spine and the spine has flaked in that area. Grading is very conservative, with strict Goldmine grading standards applied. All records are shipped in sturdy record mailers with adequate packing materials, with the record removed in its inner sleeve and placed on top of the jacket to prevent seam splitting.
