Description
KING CRIMSON - USA FIRST PRESS - A1/B1 MATRIX Year:1975 Cat: ILPS 9316
- On offer here is a fine example of this increasingly rare and sought after King Crimson live album.
- The laminated single Robor sleeve is flat with a couple small creases and slight lifting of the laminate in places either side of the spine. Slight ringwear is only visible when angled to the light. The spine is straight and rigid with no splits (see pic). The top and bottom edges are unworn and the sleeve opening has virtually no feathering. Overall very presentable and graded EX-
- The polylined blue Island inner is superb with virtually no creases and no splits. Graded EX.
- The vinyl has great gloss and even under strong light. I can only find a couple small scuffs on Side 1 that do no affect play and a few of the lightest of small hairlines! The pink rim labels are clear and bright with just a few spindle trails showing this record has only been played a few times. Visually graded EX. When played there is no noise at all and a superb example of KIng Crimson's dynamic musical range - graded EX+ for audio.

My records are graded in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows:
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
+ or - indicates a grading in between categories

All LP's are sent in a new mailer with stiffener. Certificate of posting obtained from Post Office on all items.
