ATTENTION KING CRIMSON,PINK ISLAND LABEL AND 1970s PROGRESSIVE ROCK LP COLLECTORS!
HERE IS AN ORIGINAL 1970 1ST UK PRESSING ISSUE OF THE KING CRIMSON ALBUM:"IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON" ON THE ISLAND PINK "ROUGH TEXTURED" LABELS AND HAVING THE EARLIEST "WHITE "i" LOGOS:ILPS 9127 AND A 2+B 2 MATRIXES.VERY THICK VINYL!
THE TEXTURED EFFECT GATEFOLD COVER IS PRINTED BY E.J.DAY.
THERE ARE GLEAMING SURFACES WITH JUST SOME FAINT SURFACE MARKS.THERE IS SOME SLIGHT SURFACE NOISE NOTICEABLE ON SOME OF THE QUIETER PASSAGES SUCH AS THE START OF EACH SIDE BUT THE MAJORITY OF THE DISC SOUNDS SUPERB!
STRICTLY GRADED AS EXCELLENT CONDITION.
HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL POLYLINED INNER SLEEVE WITH THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE "FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING" TEXT. THERE ARE SOME CREASES AND STAINING BUT NO WRITING,RIPS OR REPAIRS.
THE GATEFOLD COVER HAS A DEDICATION IN BIRO PEN INSIDE AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER SOME TINY EDGE CREASES BUT THERE IS NO STAINING,RIPS OR REPAIRS! PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS SHOWING THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE COVER AND BOTH LABELS! NOTHING TO HIDE!
