THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE SUPERB SECOND LP BY THE BRITISH PROGRESSIVE BAND KING CRIMSON CALLED IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON CAT NO ILPS 9127. THIS IS A RARE FIRS UK PRESSING WITH A1/B1 MARTIX NUMBERS WHICH MAKES IT ALL THE MORE COLLECTABLE.
THE AMAZING E.J. DAY TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN OVERALL VERY GOOD CONDITION.THERE IS STORAGE WEAR TO THE SPINE AND EDGES BUT THE TITLE IS CLEARLY VISIBLE . THE COLOURS STILL LOOK GREAT ON WHAT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST COVERS EVER MADE.
THE HEAVY FIRST PRESS VINYL HAS RETAINED AN EXCELLENT SHEEN AND LOOKS GREAT. UNDER A STRONG LIGHT I CAN SEE 3-4 SUPERFICIAL LIGHT MARKS PROBABLY CAUSED WHEN TAKING THE LP OUT OF THE SLEEVE. THESE DO NOT AFFECT PLAY. VISUALLY I WOULD GRADE THE LP AS A CONSERVATIVE VERY GOOD++.
I HAVE LISTENED TO THE LP IN FULL AT VERY LOUD VOLUME AND IT SOUNDS GREAT. THERE IS SOME VERY LIGHT STATIC CRACKLE AND 4 POPS DURING CAT FOOD BUT OVERALL I WOULD GRADE AS -EXCELLENT. A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS LP.
THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent special delivery in the Uk at a cost of £3.50. The cost of postage in Europe is £8 which includes as mandatory insurance and signed for delivery. I am really sorry but i will not ship to Russia due to problems experienced in the past and anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.
Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
