Description
THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE SIXTH STUDIO LP BY THE BRITISH PROGRESSIVE GROUP KING CRIMSON RELEASED BY ISLAND IN THE UK IN 1974 CAT NO ILPS 9275. THIS COPY IS IN RARE EXCELLENT CONDITION.
THE VINYL IS IN VISUALLY EXCELLENT CONDITION. UNDER A STRONG LIGHT THERE ARE A FEW LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARKS BUT THESE HAVE NO IMPACT ON THE AUDIO. THE CONDITION OF THE VINYL IS REFLECTED IN THE AUDIO WHICH IS ALSO EXCELLENT. I HAVE LISTENED TO THE WHOLE LP AT GREAT VOLUME AND IT PLAYS THROUGH WITHOUT ANY SKIPS OR JUMPS . THERE IS SOME VERY LIGHT STATIC BACKGROUND NOISE WHICH IS MORE OBVIOUS IN THE QUIET SECTIONS BUT OVERALL THE AUDIO IS CLEAR AND VIBRANT WITH GOOD SEPERATION AND I WOULD GRADE AS EXCELLENT.
THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
THE ORIGINAL ROBOR LTD GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN OVERALL VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE CORNERS AND EDGES. THERE IS SOME LIGHT RINGWEAR BUT THE GATEFOLD STILL LOOKS VERY GOOD WHEN OPENED.
OVERALL A VERY NICE COPY OF THIS CLASSIC LP
Please check my listings for other classic rock LP's

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
