Hello Folks… Back again with easily my biggest (and greatest) batch of auctions to date! Due to an impending move, I'm still in the process of unloading a sizeable portion of my personal collection. This week I have up for auction a tremendous list of well over 300 titles of which a great deal rarely ever turn up for sale, especially in such great condition! A diverse cross-section of styles/genres is represented from funk, soul & jazz to island, afro & reggae (even some break/sample material for DJ's/Producers) so there should be something for everybody. Auction is for an ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY PRESSING of FRANK MOTLEY & THE HITCH-HIKERS / KING HERBERT & THE KNIGHTS' "SUPER BAD SOUL" LP from 1974 on Marathon Records. Absolutely killer compilation of the best tracks off the respective artists LP's featuring "Hook & Sling" & "Hell Bent" from The Hitch-Hikers and "Sing a Simple Song", "Chicken Strut" & "Ooga Boogaloo" from King Herbert. This was released a couple years after their Paragon LP's as Marathon was also run by Jack Boswell who ran and owned Paragon Records as well, hence the connection between the two labels. Pretty much as good an introduction to the Toronto 70's funk scene as any. Cover has the very slightest hint of wear, more or less flawless. Vinyl looks unplayed… Absolute top copy here!

*PLEASE NOTE: Buyers from FRANCE, ITALY & RUSSIA must pay for registered shipping with tracking (XpressPost service) on any purchase, cost is approx. $55-60 to ship 1 LP with this service to the aforementioned countries. If you've bought from me before though you may be exempt; please inquire to confirm.

*EVERY package with a value of $200 or more will require registered XpressPost service with tracking (buyer to pay actual cost - please inquire for the specific rates). XpressPost within Canada can cost as little as a few dollars more while a package to the U.S. is approx. $20 more and for International destinations rates start at about $50 for 1 LP ($60+ for Japan, Australia, Asia, etc). Please note that ALL International packages over 2kg ship via XpressPost (as small packet air is only for parcels under 2kg) hence International postage rates almost doubling at 2-3kg's as listed above.
