KING TUBBY'S PROPHECY OF DUB ..LP on PROPHETS RECORDS DATE 1976 ..UK ORIGINAL..
condition of vinyl visually=VG+(some surface marks) ..plays EX(great clarity,some very low ocasional clicks played on headphones) . COMES IN PLAIN SLEEVE(not sure if this album came with an original picture sleeve?)

MINT flawless,unplayed
NEAR MINT unplayed,..but may have very small tiny hard to see very light negible mark
EX great shape,clean with no marks,...may contain 1-2 hard to see very light small"negible" marks
VG++ very good shape,but has a few light marks
VG+ good shape with surface marks
VG has lots of marks,some light scratches,but plays well
GOOD lots of marks and scratches,plays well with some light surface noise/crackle
ALL RECORDS ARE PLAYED UNLESS SEALED..I VISUALLY GRADE & PLAY GRADE(for surface noise,crackles pops,skips,jumps etc..any problems found will be mentioned in description)

On 28-Apr-06 at 18:10:27 BST, seller added the following information: the matrx is ij 8125 ..the album came out in the UK in 1976 in a plain sleeve, but not an official release..the question of how many,by whom i do not know (this information was sent to me by a very knowlegeble ebayer..thanks) On 30-Apr-06 at 01:12:43 BST, seller added the following information: more info from an informative ebayer : in the uk in 1976 around 1000 copies, not guaranteed, issued in white jacket only and sold as pre-release, but not by n.smith, adress on label is incorrect. jamaican lp called king tubby´s prophecies of dub on prestige label (prod. by prince tony) is totally different, matrix vj 8124, not ij !!( vj is for vivian jackson). to me it looks like the stamper of vj 8125 (your issue) was made in jamaica, but never came out in jamaica, then someone took the stamper to the uk and issued the bootlegj.. s..... record collector since 1975
