Gryphon/ Chesapeake/ Richland 13159 VARIOUS ARTISTS Kings Of The Twelve-String
1963 LP
Great collection of country blues from Georgia recorded in the late 1920s featuring seven masters of the 12-string guitar. The record label was suffering from schizophrenia since the cover says Gryphon, the label says Chesapeake and the booklet says Richland! So take your pick! Whatever the label the music is great and it comes with 12 page booklet with brief notes and lyric transcripts of the songs.

Disc is Ex- … minor wear and surface noise though there will be some more noticeable surface noise from the original 78s used.
Cover is VG … Thick cardboard with some wear, fading and creasing.
Includes original booklet which is somewhat faded and creased at one corner.

The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The jacket and any extra items are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX)
The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The jacket may have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG)
The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Normal wear and tear on the jacket, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have light pops and skips. The jacket may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits or discoloration.
FAIR (F)
The record is playable but was not properly cared for and plays with extensive surface noise overriding sound and may skip considerably. The jacket may be torn, stained or defaced.
BAD (B)
The record is unplayable and probably broken and is only of use as a collection filler.
