I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE BEST NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / HEAVY METAL / HARD ROCK COLLECTION I HAVE SEEN IN 35+ YEARS. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM AN INDUSTRY PERSON WHO WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY BETWEEM THE LATE 70'S AND LATE 80'S SPECIALISING IN ONLY NWOBHM / HARD ROCK / METAL ETC....so keep watching over the next few weeks, as a lot of the items I have for sale never been offered before, most come with letters and promo inserts etc....
These are 2 UNIQUE RARE UK ONE SIDED ACETATES OF KING'S X and KEEL singles from 1989 and 1986, ORIGINAL UK ACETATES AND A MUST !!!
NO MORE THEN A HANDFUL OF THESE ACETATES WERE MADE !!!. DON'T MISS ON THESS ORIGINAL SKID ROW and KEEL ACETATES.
These ACETATE were sent to a radio station to get early plays, no more then a handful of these were made !!! The FIRST ACETATE is a ONE SIDED ACETATE for the KING'S X track "OVER MY HEAD" from 1989, As you can see the label IS HAND WRITTEN apart from the MASTER ROOM LOGO which is a printed label. The ACETATE was pressed in 1989 by ATLANTIC RECORDS in the MASTER ROOM STUDIOS.
The songs are: OVER MY HEAD.
This ACETATE is in EX+++ condition (played ONCE), also comes with the original die cut sleeve with the RECORD COMPANY PROMOTER'S NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS. The SECOND ACETATE is a ONE SIDED ACETATE for the KEEL track "Because The Night" (The Patti Smith / Bruce Springsteen song) from 1986, it was pressed in the TAPE 1 studios and a PHONOGRAM label stuck on top with HAND WRITTEN DETAILS. This ACETATE also comes with a PROOF SLEEVE which is folded in half. The song is : BECAUSE THE NIGHT. The ACETATE looks great and has barely been played but has a mark half way through the track which makes the needle stick there for I would grade as Fair only. DON'T LET THESE 2 RARE KING'S X and KEEL ACETATES single get away as you will NEVER see another one.
