ORIGINAL MONO RELEASEGATEFOLD FRONT LAMINATED FLIPOVER SLEEVE

A-3W B-3W MATRIX MARKS ON OFFER HERE IS A VERY RARE CHANCE TO OWN A MONO COPY OF "THE KINKS ARE THE VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY" THE 1968 ALBUM RELEASED ON THE BLUE BLACK MONO PYE!!!! . This is a VERY RARE RECORD as by this time MOST Of the releases were in STEREO NOT MONO!!!! Not only that but this has the FIrst Press Gatefold sleeve SLEEVE WITH FRONT AND REAR LAMINATE AND THE INNER GATEFOLD WITH A TEXTURED FINISH. Only the VERY FIRST pressings were like this !!!
The record plays with the NO hiss NO skips NO repeats NO crackles except a couple between tracks and three tics between one track only one of which is JUST BARELY over the music THE REST ARE BETWEEN THE TRACKS!! !!!. . I would grade this as EXCELLENT ( if not beter , allowing for this ) A SUPERB AND RARE MONO RECORD ON THE BLUE BLACK FIRST PRESS PYE LABEL
The sleeve itself has NO writing , there is MINIMAL cornerwear and edgewear The spine is straight and true with NO creasing AT ALL and the printing "AS NEW" A VERY small tear on the rear top corner and a crease at the rear bottom right corner. The INNER GATEFOLD has NO writing NO creases and retains ALL its original VIVID colours. A bit of wear at the top and bottom of the internal spine (all of them wear here)
As for gradings:-
The record itself is easily an EX (IF NOT BETTER ) and the sleeve is an VG+
I PLAY ALL MY RECORDS FIRST TO GRADE THEM AND DO NOT RELY ON A VISUAL INSPECTION!!!
A RARE chance to own this KINKS CLASSIC!!!!
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HOW RARE THIS RECORD IS IN ESPECIALLY ON THE ORIGINAL BLUE/BLACK PYE LABEL IN MONO !

The record shows some signs of having been played,but there is very lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have some slight wear and or creasing VERY GOOD
The record has obviously been played many times,but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Edge, corner and spine wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptableI DO NOT OFFER ANY ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD
NEITHER DO I OFFER MINT ITEMS UNLESS THEY ARE SEALED.THE REASON FOR THIS IS I ALWAYS PLAY MY RECORDS TO CHECK FOR FLAWS
