Side 1: Plays Mint with quiet gaps, visually M- under normal light, under halogen light a few more tiny superficial blemishes are visible, closer to EX+
Side 2: same as side 1
LABELS
Side 1: first edition label with no spindle marks
Side 2: same as side 1, still has a bit of the original flashing around the hole
COVER
Front: Perfectly flat with no crimps and no ring wear, solid seams with a clean readable spine, sharp corners, rivet in upper left. These early covers used a very fragile silver matte paper that is usually worn away on the seams. They are usually found with a lot of ring wear on the front for the same reason, unlike this copy. This cover is in very rare NM condition. Some sellers might call it Mint.
Back: Clean white paper with a trace of light ring wear near the top.
INNER: original inner with no splits, will come with an archival inner as well
DESCRIPTION: First edition tri-color labels in flawless condition. Vinyl plays perfectly and retains its original gloss. The cover is easily NM with solid seams and spine. These early covers were printed on a fragile silver paper which is usually worn on the seams along with ring wear on the front. This copy has none of that. There’s only one tiny blemish on the lower seam near the opening which is crisp with no feathering.

Records are shipped in the highest quality LP mailers with the record secured outside of the cover to avoid seam splits.
Please don’t bid if If you own a Crosley or similar inexpensive turntable. LPs that play perfectly on a real turntable may have problems playing correctly on a cheap turntable with no ability to adjust tone arm tracking weight or anti-skid. It will eventually destroy your LPs.

I began buying records in the mid 60’s and I've always been fanatical about record care and storage.
The records I sell are from my personal collection, including backup copies. I've never been one to buy VG records or anything with an audible scratch, which eliminates the vast majority.
I use standard US grading plus the UK grade of EX in order to eliminate the dreaded VG++
Records are first inspected under a halogen light and any blemishes are examined with a 10x power magnifier which allows the grooves to be fully inspected. Then they’re play graded on a Linn Sondek LP12.
As a record buyer, I've had a lot of over graded “garage sale” LPs arrive covered with gritty dust and greasy fingerprints while the seller claims a “visual” grade based on fantasy. Be assured that my records will arrive clean and fingerprint free.
