Of all British Invasion bands, Kinks were (or, shall we say: ARE) by far the most eloquent, elegant, sexy, subversive, original and brain-stimulating . I know, I know, you will say: what about the Beatles, Stones, Who, Animals…yes, hats off to all of the above, but the Kinks still remain a monument of musical, artistic and personal integrity, even now, 40 years after their inception. This gorgeous original 1967 live set combines some of their best known hits with some of the most earth-shaking rock& roll hits for maximum impact. The songs are: All day and all of the night - A well respected man - You’re lookin’ fine - Sunny Afternoon - Dandy - I’m on an island - Come on now - You really got me - Medley: (a) Milk Cow Blues - (b) Batman Theme - (c) Tired of waiting for you.. After all, the subtitle of the album says it all: "An ORGY for ears – The Kinks live in concert". ‘Nuff said. (b)          The record comes in the original stock inner sleeve (WE CAN SEE IT THROUGH THE OPENING)

(c)           The record is  apparently  pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER IS STRONG NEAR MINT, STILL SEALED AND COVERED IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP

-        Cover has a light "wrinkle" (crease)  in one of the corners. (nothing significant)

-         Cover shows JUST A HINT of yellowing on back side, apparently from aging.
