KIP TYLER "She's My Witch" b/w "Rumble Rock" on Ebb Records 1958. This is an original copy of this amazing record. "She's My Witch" has appeared on more rockabilly comps than you probably can count! Now is your chance to complete that missing hole in your rockabilly collection with this original waxing of one of the hands down classics of all time! "She's My Witch" is a menacing slow tempo rocker that can strip paint offa' yer car! Bass is deep and mean on this side! "Rumble Rock" is no sloucher either. It's a bit faster and sounds like what might have happened if Kip had Link Wray write a song with him. Guitar crunchin' time. Classic...
Original 1958 single in VG- condition. The "She's My Witch" side has some scratches (VG-), but this are faint on playback. They are just on the surface. The "Rumble Rock" side is much cleaner (VG). Both sides play fine with no skips and very little surface noise. This was my personal copy until a better one came along. Label has light wear and written on both sides in very light red pen is the name "Carol". I don't know who "Carol" was, but she must have been a swingin' kitten to have bought this record (or maybe not since she parted with it at some point).
I cannot upload sound files, but all you savvy hepcats out there can mosey over to Rockin' County Style and check out the listing ("red" for hot!) on ol' Kip and his boys and you can hear a smidgen of the sound there.
