The record was played on a professional turntable with a quality stylus and light weight tonearm setting. The fade in on the first track is very quiet and if listening carefully you can hear very faint, very light vinyl sounds in the background for about 10 seconds, very minor. Every bit of the rest of it is cleaner sounding than one might imagine. Very Near Mint condition!

Sounds awesome, especially loud. The vinyl is beautiful & glossy, super clean & sounds as good as it looks & there are no visible imperfections. Even in the quietest part at the intro to Detroit Rock City where you hear the television set, then he enters the car and revs it up, it sounds clean, superb. This is a high quality promo from 1976! These pressings were often reserved for and used by DJs and broadcasters, but this one has been unusually well-preserved.

This is not a brand new record but appears and sounds very close to it, so if the winning bidder is not completely satisfied with the album I'll gladly take it back for a full refund. Best of luck!
