MEGARARE original CASABLANCA Records, very first Stereo press released in Chile in 1977 by QUATRO LTDA. RECORDS, with Casablanca labels, catalog number S-CAS-9015, matrix numbers S-CAS-9015-A MSM-CD in Side A and S-CAS-9015-B MSM-CD in Side B. Yes, ANOTHER GREAT FIND FROM CHILE!!! A rare single pressed in Chile in great condition. And remember we are conservatives for grading our records!!!

As you must know if you ae a fan or collector of Kiss, records made in Chile by Quatro Ltda. Records are the most collectible records of Kiss of South America and here you have the chance the own this single in superb condition. This single was released in Chile in 1977, licensed from Kiss Songs Inc., USA, and comes with a generic coloured Quatro Ltda. Records paper sleeve. It’s interesting to see that in Side A, the song is in English, but translated to Spanish (“Cristina de 16 años”) but in Side B the song is in English, with no translation to Spanish… And in the deadwax of the record it’s written the date of pressing: 2-8-77 (August 2 of 1977)!!! Yes Yes Yes, another FIND from this side of the world and remember it’s in SUPERB condition!!!

The cover is a generic Quatro Ltda. Records paper sleeve and it’s in very good condition. Record is in VG or VG+ condition, it’s glossy and clean but with many scuffs and some hairlines, which don’t affect sound. Labels are in EX condition, clean, no marks, but someone signed the label in Side A and wrote his/her initials in Side Breally perfect. Sound, however, it’s the best part , it’s in great and strong EX+ or NM- condition the Side A, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), loud and clear, only minimal soft pops here and there, hard to hear, and in NM- or NM condition the Side B, loud and clear and with only one soft pop at the beginning of the song. Overall a fabulous record with an amazing sound quality still after more than 30 years!!! Maybe the best possible sound quality you could find in a long time!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
