KISS “Alive II” double Lp set, NBLP 7076. This is the original holy grail copy from USA with misprint back cover and misprint gatefold jacket. Please read all of description because this copy is the rarest in existence, yes because it comes with two different errors !!! Most interesting of all is that reportedly less than 50 copies were released with jackets erroneously listing three songs that do not appear on any vinyl copies. The error copy Alive II lists the album sequence as first envisioned by the studio, with the three extra songs eventually being dropped for quality reason. This version is reported to be the rarest of all Kiss American releases. Rumor has Gene Simmons putting the number produced at 50 copies, although no concrete evidence has ever been presented. The three songs deleted after these printings were “Take me”, “Hooligan”, and “Do you love me”. Now the second error: The song listings on the back cover were the intended track sequence, until it was decided the sound quality would suffer from the increased number of grooves per side. In addition, the credit code numbers on the back cover (and inside of the jackets) in no way correspond to the standard copies. On the standard copy, the credit numbers only go to six, on the error copy they go to seven. The credit number of this copy go to seven on the back cover, but they are the correct ones in the gatefold jacket, going only to six like all of the standard copies !!! incredible rare maybe one of only three or four copies in this planet !!! This is an extra copy I’ve fortunately found, I have both misprint copies for my personal collection (the one with six credits and the one with seven credits in the jacket), this is the reason I’m selling this one. This copy comes complete with all of the inserts: original inner sleeves, merchandise order form, booklet and unused tattoos. Misprint gatefold cover has cut corner. Cover in EX or better condition with some wear and some light creases. Both records in EX condition too, with some light marks and surface signs (visually graded, Not tested). All of the inserts are unused but with some stains and wear. (visually graded, Not tested). If you would like more information, please don’t hesitate to ask.
