Description
KISS Creatures Of The Night Rare Mercury Vinyl 1982 Casablanca Poly UPC Sticker. Item has several problem areas, but played fine for me on both sides. Item is uncommon, but incomplete as the original inner sleeve has been replaced. Read condition description for details. I previously posted Discogs details about this vinyl. In short, this vinyl is rare due to the Mercury logo being on the label, the cover barcode sticker and other minor changes from the original print. It was a mid-transition release with a smaller print run in comparison to its former and latter releases. NOTE: This item has been re-listed after being returned. If you’re looking to add this version to your collection, please take note of the pictures and descriptions. —- Condition description: NOTE 1: This item was previously bought on eBay and returned. I have included the buyer’s direct quotes to help with any additional description other than my own.Previous buyer: “Hi, I just opened the record, and unfortunately, there are issues:-Plastic protective sleeve taped to the cover.-Large area of discoloration along cover opening. -Missing original printed inner sleeve. -And by far, the largest issue is the vinyl groove described in the listing. This is not a groove, but a crack that is apparent on both sides of the record.”Seller NOTE 2: While the vinyl does contain the pictured crack, it is more prominent on Side B than Side A. My turntable played the record from front to back without the crack being an issue. MAY be an issue for you on your player. The plastic cover is ripped in several places and is taped on the inside. The original inner sleeve has been replaced with a plan white/beige one. Inside of cover has staining and is open on the bottom. See pics
