Up for bid is a used record from my personal collection.
I choose to not grade the vinyl, jacket/cover and sleeve in my listings because I don't want there to be any misunderstandings about the condition (visual and audible) of the record and its packaging. I have included comments and observations on the condition (visual and audible) of the record and its packaging, as well as photos of what is included in the auction (quality pictures of the vinyl itself are really tricky to capture and reflections off the ceiling and light sources in the room typically appear in the pictures, but I did my best).
Note that this is being sold AS IS and I do not accept returns ... too costly and too much hassle in my opinion. So to eBay Representatives and to Buyers ... I've been a member of the eBay community since 1999 and take my status as a buyer and seller very seriously. I have documented all substantive issues with the items in this listing and will challenge any request for a full or partial refund, return, or "item not as described" claim filed by a Buyer.
I'll spin the vinyl through Record Friend (Big Fudge) to clean it before shipping to minimize any finger prints, residue, minor debris that could attach to the vinyl over time and when preparing it for shipping. Incidental lint/debris is very likely to be visible on the vinyl when you pull it from the packaging and first inspect it ... clean it appropriately and the vinyl should clean up as it was when I initially packaged it. The vinyl and inner sleeve will be placed outside of the jacket/cover and all items will be shipped in a record mailer USPS Media Mail with proper packaging.

VINYL
Side 1: No significant audible issues, pretty clean sound with hardly any crackling, etc. Small 1/2" blemish in the shape of a triangle where track 2 begins. I listened to that section a few times before listing the album and couldn't notice any audible issues in that spot. I was listening though open air, not through headphones.
Side 2: Same as side 1 ... no significant audible issues, pretty clean sound with hardly any crackling, etc. No significant visual defects either.
JACKET/COVER
see photos; very slight ring wear (front and back); "S.ACHESON" written in top-right of front side ... thankfully not very noticeable; spine in pretty good shape for being close to 40 years old but some of the labelling on spine partially disturbed. The 501 marking in the upper right corner of the back-side is a marking associated with a 2nd pressing run in 1982, but the plant noted in the label ("53") and matrix in the dead wax match a Hauppauge Record Manufacturing pressing (see link below).
