Here’s a Kiss record that’s got all the right things going for it. First, it is a still sealed, unopened original United States pressing from 1978 with the mirror finish gatefold cover. Second, the front of the cover has a gold Promo stamp in the top right corner which reads LOANED FOR PROMOTION ONLY NOT FOR SALE OWNERSHIP AND ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Third, the outside of the shrink wrap has the rare clear Hype Sticker with red text which starts out reading “BRAND NEW STRUTTER ’78…BRAND-NEW MIXES OF THESE KISS CLASSICS!” The Hype Sticker also reads at the bottom “A SPECIAL 2-RECORD SET…AND YOUR OWN PLATINUM PLAQUE FROM KISS!” It is assumed the Platinum Plaque is inside.
The shrink wrap plastic has one tear in the bottom right corner. The shrink wrap plastic also has about a 2 inch slit on the center right edge, where the records go inside the cover. The top left corner of the cover has a small crease and the other three corners have small dings. The shrink wrap plastic is overall clean but has some wear on the outside part. The records are of course unplayed.
