Casablanca Records NBLP 7025
I stumbled upon this amazing find in Denver among a pile of big band and show tunes LPs at an estate sale for a Korean War veteran. The cellophane is intact with the exception of the top right corner, which has minor wear from exposure. The rest of the jacket looks to be in incredible shape for its age. Please note this is the Columbia Record House version, as indicated by the “CRC” above the Casablanca logo on the back of the jacket. It is unknown if this record is the blue Bogart label or the other style Casablanca label. The opening placement of the inner sleeve is also unknown. The inner sleeve had the opening to the side only on the early first run while all later printings opened at the top. It is a mystery and only the winner will know what’s inside. GET UP and bid hard and heavy!
