KISS Destroyer 1976 Casablanca UK Pressing. Very Rare PYE Trans Red Vinyl without 'Love Gun' band image on label. Vinyl VG-/Cover VG+

Notes:

• 1976 Press on Casablanca/PYE (UK Pressing)Matrix/Runout Side 1: CAL2009  A-10 MB 
• Matrix/Runout Side 2: CAL2009 B- 10 MB
• Very rare Translucent Red Vinyl WITHOUT the Love-Gun Band picture on the label - most of the PYE Pressings are 1977 onward, with the 'Love Gun' band pic on the label. 

Condition: 

• Please read and remember this is a 41 year old vintage item ???? pics and grading are honest so please look. 
• Graded VERY CRITICALLY under VERY bright spotlight + test play. Pics show item under bright spotlights. 
• Cleaned very carefully by hand using high grade cleaning fluid (L'art du Son), distilled water, goat-hair brush and suitable cleaning cloths. 

Vinyl Surfaces VG-

• Background light crackles on most of the songs. 
• Heavier crackles and some pops on the gaps/quiet parts. 
• Listenable but not for Audiophiles. 
• No skips. 

• Lots of visible hairlines and light scratches and a few larger marks. 
• Has been reasonably well cared for but clearly played a lot

• Spindle wear and some discolouration 
• Few marks around the label edge
• Still in VG+ condition. 

Outer Sleeve  VG+

• Front and back excellent with great sheen, no marks and only a few indentations. 
• Spine has areas of moderate wear, but all writing is clear. 
• Edges have some old yellowed tape repairs where tape has peeled. 
• I've removed this carefully where possible - but some bits would take off the colour so I left those and taped them down afresh - then properly re-glued the sleeve. 

Vinyl Care/Preparation

• I hand-clean every vinyl listed using L'Art Du Son cleaning solution. This removes old grease, dust etc. to improve the playback quality. This does sometimes leave residue marks, but these don't affect play. I use a top quality goat-hair brush, vacuum off the fluid, then dry and buff with soft cloths. 

• The vinyl then goes into an anti-static sleeve, supplied with the Vinyl you buy. 

•  I also carefully clean and dry the Vinyl outer sleeves to remove old finger marks, dirt and dust. Once done the sleeves are placed into a PVC sleeve to keep them nice and clean, they are shipped with the plastic sleeve. 

•  Vinyls are then listened to end-to-end before grading, in order to give a full, honest grading. BEWARE VISUAL-ONLY GRADINGS :) ...some Vinyls that look Near Mint to the eye have skips, others that look marked play near-perfectly. I've learned that you can't grade a Vinyl without listening to it :) 

•  Finally, I take lots of pics and rip the Vinyl to WAV so buyers can either hear in advance, and/or have an accompanying digital download of the Vinyl. 

• All of the above is done to help buyers be sure of what they are getting before they spend hard-earned money and to provide a good service.  For this reason, I'm not aiming to be the cheapest on eBay. Sensible offers considered but please don't expect me to give stuff away or match auctions with no grading, no cleaning and hit-and-miss chance of buying quality :)

• Vinyl will be removed from inner and securely packed during shipping to prevent splits

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G)

Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
