I was fortunate enough to recently receive hundreds of unsold KISS albums in boxes that had sat in Polygram Records' warehouse and i will be listing them a few at a time. most of these LPs are beautiful...some are error copies. some are in amazing shape, and some are in good shape. i will indicate the condition of each LP. one of the great things about these LPs is that a lot of them never made it into the stores, so theres no price tags or shelf wear. when it comes to American KISS releases and pressings, i am an expert so feel free to ask anything. bidders with less than 20 feedback please contact me first, otherwise your bids will be cancelled because of previous bad experiences.
KISS 422-824148-1...PolyGram's last LP pressing of Dressed To Kill in Stone Mint condition. still sealed and new. most collectors do not like the final pressing of the KISS catalog done by PolyGram records in 1985 while others have come to embrace them for their scarcity, errors, and their completely random use of filmworks labels and inserts. many copies of RNR Over came with Love Gun's blood logo innersleeve, printed on a thick cardboard w/ RNR Over's barcode! some copies of Alive! included Alive II's "Evolution of Kiss" book! usually though, you were shafted and got nothing. Personally I love the last press of the KISS LPs because they are the rarest press. many titles were limited to 10,000 units or less. i will also include the infamous "teardrop" RCA record club version of Rock And Roll Over that i dug up. it is Mint- and i am not aware of whether or not inserts came with record club issues, as i am not fond of them. however, some collectors have been known to desire this one, so i include it as a bonus.
