KISS Hotter Than Hell - Casablanca NBLP 7006 1974 USA Original USA issue. Rock LP Bogart Label Original VG+/Ex-
First USA pressing of Kiss' second long player. Contains some classic tracks including Ace Frehley's blistering 'Parasite' and title track 'Hotter Than Hell' that's still in the Kiss 'repertoire' today. Here we hear Kiss in their early development. Straight after theire debut Album, they developed the brand with this more experimetal concept. Pressing details: 2nd generation blue/dark gray Casablanca label design with a smoking man on the left. Label rim text reads: Manufactured and distributed by Casablanca Records, Inc. / Made In U.S.A. Sleeve in VG+ condition. Still smart and intact. Some light storage, minor creasing wear and edge scuffing but still very presentable.
Vinyl in Ex- condition Record has a minor build up of lightest and superficial surface marks/signs of use. Absolutely no problems or heavy marks.
I was keen to pick up this record with a load of mainly old rubbish! I've never had an American original and see very little Kiss records on my travels around crate digging. I only ever see Uk Pye/Casablanca pressings in the U.K. and Kiss never had any grip on the British music pysche in the 1970s. I first heard this record on a Casablanca tape bought my dad at a US P.X. store in Denmark in 1979. I played it continually during my first two years of big school in Germany when I was 11 and 12 so the music holds some significance for me.
