This auction is for a KISS -- "I LOVE IT LOUD" PICTURE SLEEVE ! The sleeve is in excellent condition. AGAIN...the auction is for ONLY THE PICTURE SLEEVE!!! I do not have a copy of the '45 vinyl single (unfortunately).
This pic sleeve was released in 1982 for the "I Love It Loud" single pulled from the album "Creatures of the Night". From what I understand, this was only the second single released since the band's beginnings (up till 1982) that had a picture sleeve. TWO! That was it! The only other one was the "Flaming Youth / God of Thunder" single lifted from their "Detroyer" album in 1976. They did release a slew of singles with picture sleeves throughout the '80 and beyond.
The sleeve is in excellent (or better) condition. The photographs show all aspects of the sleeve. There are no seam splits. It doesn't look like there is any wear on the front and back of the sleeve. No tears or ragged edges along the top lip. It's about as perfect as you're going to see.
To repeat, THERE IS NO VINYL '45 RECORD INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. It is just the sleeve...
