Mega rare opportunity to get your hands on an original piece of KISSTORY -
Shop window display for the LOVE GUN album, the year 1977 when KISS really were the greatest band on Earth!
I have never seen another one like this, its quite large (70cm wide by 94cm high) and for the real KISS aficionados it features the Casablanca logo on the bottom left, and quite unusually the PYE Record group on the right. As you can see from the pics, this item is in two pieces, to give a 3D effect
For something 29 years old the condition is very good, of course the very bottom and top corners are a bit worse for wear (which the pics show) but the colour is still very good, (as its been under a bed for 20 years) A printer friend of mine tells me that this was a very good print job for back then. Please feel free to ask, on any points of condition.
The real value of this piece is of course its rarity; as you just cannot find genuine period display art like this anymore, and of course all KISS fans will know LOVE GUNS place in KISSTORY!
I acquired this item in 1978 when it was the centrepiece of a window display at Peter Jones of Sloane Square, London the famous department store.
