Description
Up for auction is the uber-rare KISS Originals '74-'79 LP Box Set, only released in Japan and in a limited quantity of 2500 units
This limited set includes 9 full-albums for a total of 11 LPs, each album on different colored vinyl! It includes:

DRESSED TO KISS
ALIVE! (2LP / GATEFOLD)
DESTROYER
ROCK AND ROLL OVER (GATEFOLD)
LOVE GUN (GATEFOLD)
ALIVE II (2LP / GATEFOLD)
DYNASTY
The box set also includes 1 page of unused KISS stickers (!), 1 page of unused KISS cards(!) and a 36 page booklet with information on the albums, etc.
The outer plastic on the box set shows crinkly wear- meaning, it's been on the box set for protection so of course, it has some crinkles on the plastic. The outer sticker is still intact as you can see in the pictures.
The records themselves are all in excellent shape and barely played. I would grade the box and LPs as NEAR MINT according to Goldmine standards. As Goldmine explains, offering a Mint grading is almost impossible outside of being at the plant and finding a blemish free copy for any record. The outer plastic is the only thing that really shows wear in the set and should be expected unless the set went straight into a safe at purchase! There is also a price sticker on the outside of the plastic that says $359.99 and appears to have been placed there in '98.
I am setting the reserve at $250.00 due to the high value of the box set. So if you are bidding, realize that should at least be the initial bid or higher.
(Please note in the pictures, there may be a flash glare coming off the vinyl, however, that is not really present in the condition.)
