Description

Original copy of Glam Rock's KISS - Paul Stanley's 1978 release of "The Kiss Albums" one of a four set in the form of a picture disc featuring Paul Stanley.

This album is presented on the Casablanca Recording label - Catalogue number is NBPIX 7123.

This is now a particularly rare album in LP/picture disc  format.

 

About the album:

 

The Outer Sleeve:

Remains in its original factory issue format with no writing rips or tears, the sleeve whilst manufactured from strong cardboard does bear some minor signs of ageing in the form of buffering wear to the corners and edges consistent with age and storage - please see pictures.

 

The Vinyl:

Presents on both sides with a good clear glossy sheene.

Side One:

A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals no evidence of any scratches or surface marks that are worthy of mention or of any concern to me, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of very good quality and faithful.As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated.

 

Side Two:

Similarly,a  close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals no evidence of any scratches or surface marks that are worthy of mention or of any concern to me, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is again of good quality and faithful. As with any vinyl - again, one can detect the occasional crack consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust on quitter sections of the album - there is though, no skipping, jumping or sticking througout the entire duration of this album.

Overall,  and in my considered opinion,this album plays to a good audio standard
