Description
In 1976 Casablanca Records was to capitalize on the recent success of a young promising band called Kiss. Demand for the recent studio album and live set titled "Alive" was strong, but the first three albums were not considered at the time to be good sellers. The idea was to offer those first three albums packaged together with some extra goodies as a very limited edition three LP set in deluxe folder. Hoping to spark more interest in those earliest album, the plan was a wild success. The limited run sold out within 14 days, and a second printing was rushed into production immediately.
Offered here is that early 1976 FIRST RUN PRESSING of KISS - THE ORIGINALS in MINT and STILL SEALED Condition.
I have kept this LP in a cool dry climate controlled storage room at my home for 30 years. I love this band, and this set is one of my prized record possessions, but the time has come to offer it to someone else who has time to collect KISS and desires a complete collection of this band's works in pristine MINT and SEALED Condition.
This original first pressing has no holes, no cuts, no torn shrink warp, or of course no writing. All corners are sharp and clean. There is no ring wear of course, there is no wear inside or out. Again, this is MINT PERFECTION!!!!
The shrink wrap has the sticker on the outside stating all the included items in this now rare feature loaded package for the dedicated KISS Fan.
It looks just like it did the day I bought it coming home from school that wonderful day 30 years ago.
