Description
This is the original 1980 picture sleeve and single 45RPM of “Talk to Me,” by Ace Frehley! Ace wrote, sang, and played bass on thissingle. The flipside features “She’s So European” by Simmons/Poncia. Thissingle from the Mercury Records album “Unmasked” was not released in the USA.The song broke into the top 40 in several countries and reached #10 inSwitzerland. Even though the band was trending toward pop recordings at thistime, Ace submitted this hard rocker. The cover illustration shows all fouroriginal members with the same artwork that was used on the album cover. KISSshould be recognized for having some of the most interesting cover art, in myopinion!
I bought this picture sleeve and single in 2003, and ithas been kept in storage since then. The record appears to be in goodcondition. The picture sleeve looks good on the front but shows wear on theback. It appears that tape was removed over the KISS logo, and the listed pricereflects this. The cover sleeve was printed on strong uncoated text weight,which has some indentations where the record was, but the ink has not worn off.It remains a great collectible and is ready for display.
