WHITE LABEL PROMO 1974 NBLP 9001
final upgrade copy of the infamous and so rare wlp - a true beauty and one for the archives! no cut corners, no record club version and absolutely no barcode. this is one the holy grails (besides from the testpressing or an acetate of this album) and is rarely up for sale and never in this amazing condition. warner bros pink promo sticker. warner bros distr credits on both labels and cover (only on first true press without 'kissin' time').
this is an archive copy and a true keeper - always kept away from pets, children and rarely even handled!
i grade strickly according to record collector's grading scale.
this album is graded both visually and soundwise.
SLEEVE: NM-, no ringwear, no smudge, straight spine, sharp corners, no feathering to opening, just a tiny bit of shelfwear and minimal creases.
VINYL: excellent +++/nm- (please note: visual) and near mint (audio). Around this time american pressing plants had to use alternative components when manufacturing the records due to world crises. most albums from this period do not have that pristine black sheen to it, even sealed copies opened today have that slight 'flamy' sheen to it. this however has nothing to do with soundquality, it's just the way it was back then. album play truly near mint with none whatsoever crackles, pops or skips. between songs it's DEAD QUIET! i have testplayed this copy LOUD on a thoréns turntable deck, macintosh amp and mirage om-5 loudspeakers with top result.

MATRIX: nb9001-60001-1a/1b (there are a few cross outs and sterling etched as well)

Record Collector's Grading scale:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
