Still in cellophane (opened). Small notch near top of opening. No bumps folds etc — a top copy


Sleeve

Original. One side is slit


Label

Perfect. No writing or stickers. Actually no sign of spindle marks, so based on the label this record appears unused.


Vinyl

Vinyl is very very good. There is an extremely light set of marks forming an “X” just above the Atlantic label on side one. Very light – – cannot possibly affect play. But it does take what is otherwise a perfect record and knock it down a notch :-)

I don’t sell many records on eBay anymore, because I have a physical store. But for pricier or unusual items like this I do Sometimes choose to list them here. The bulk of my 100% positive eBay rating comes from selling many records in years past. I have been buying albums for over 40 years, and selling them for 20 – – I am confident of my grading. I try to keep it simple by only listing items in top condition so we don’t have much to misconstrue or quibble over.

For the record – – ha ha ha – – my personal grading system is a notch or two more conservative than the classic Goldmine grading system, or at least the way that system has become interpreted lately. Over the last several years the few records I have purchased on eBay have been “WTF is this ?!”disappointments, because folks seem to think a VG record is one covered in marks you can see across the room. That may be what Goldmine intends, but it is not what the words “very good“ mean to me. None of you should have to worry about any of this very much, though, because I am not offering records which have much to discuss.
