A truly very nice condition (bordering on excellent) and highly presentable copy, with glossy vinyl and great audio reproduction, of this rare and sought after 1973 1st press prog/Krautrock cosmic gem, with earliest S1/S2/S3/S4 vinyl matrix numbers on the coveted KOSMISCHE MUSIK OHR label, STEREO, KM 2/58.005

The dead wax matrix numbers are :

Side 1   0664 403 S1 KM 2 58 005 A  320 with stampers "C" and "1" at 6.30 o'clock and 4 o'clock respectively

Side 2   0664 403 S2 KM 2 58 005 B  320 with stampers "D" and "1" at 6.30 o'clock and 4 o'clock respectively

Side 3   0664 403 S3  KM 2 58 005 A  320 with stampers "C" and "1" at 8 o'clock and 9.30 o'clock respectively

Side 4   0664 403 S4 KM 2 58 005 B  320 with stampers "D" and "1" at 80 o'clock and 4 o'clock respectively

An impressive and highly presentable condition copy of this original 1973 Krautrock/electronic/Cosmic classic with glossy jet black sheen & earliest S1/S2/S3/S4 matrix vinyls - a few extremely wispy hairlines and some paper scuffs on each but only visible with close inspection under a bright light and al non-feelable and purely superficial, not appearing to impact upon the truly excellent audio quality at all; pristine & coveted 1st press "KOSMISCHE MUSIK" labels with not even the usual one or two faint spindle trails - brilliant!; lovely condition 1st press laminated gatefold outer sleeve with firm edges, no cardboard creases, no edge scuffing apart from a single tiny scuff mark at top of spine (see photo) along with minimal corner rubbing, a few small & very light laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the top & bottom edges and spine, and just the hint of some extremely mild ring wear on the front side - all colours/art work/text remain in excellent condition with wonderful clarity still; brilliant audio quality with no sticks, jumps, repeats, skips, obvious clicks, interference or background crackle. You may come across the very, very occasional light and background click (impossible not to with four sides of ambient music such as this) but these are very few and far between, trivial in nature, and can only be caused through a speck of dust caught in the grooves through years of storage. This is cosmic heaven!

In summary a lovely condition copy of this increasingly rare and highly sought after 1973 1st press German prog/Krautrock/Cosmic/Synth gem on the coveted KOSMISCHE MUSIK OHR record label. A welcome addition to any serious prog/Krautrock vinyl collection and will only continue to gain in value.

On the subject of postage, I take great care in the packaging of all items, using a proper vinyl thick cardboard mailer, along with extra protective flange edges, with at least two thick cardboard stiffeners. I take great care in separating the record from the outer sleeve in order to help prevent sleeve damage in transit and I always insert the vinyl, outer sleeve and inner into a clear plastic sleeve, thus adding further protection.

Mint

The records itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items, such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and /or creasing.

Very Good

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents are torn, stained and/or defaced

Poor

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents are badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
