LP : KNEF

In Germany's 1970 there was no need to write the complete name on the cover or the label: this of course was the new album by actress and singer Hildegard Knef. Accompanied on 12 tracks by Hans Hammerschmidt & his Orchestra, ”Hilde” celebrates her style of singing, wich is in fact more a kind of talking/recitative, somebody even dared to call it “proto-rappin”, but it’s probably more the punctuated way 50ies actresses used to talk, and this is what she brought to perfection. Jazz-singer Ella Fitzgerald once called her “The Greatest Singer Without Voice”...

Besides some nice groovy tracks there are 2 outstanding dope tracks on this one: 1. the very first tune ”Wieviele Menschen Waren Glücklich, Daß Du Gelebt?”, wich starts with some echoed talking before a heavy fuzz-guitar & organ come in over a fat beat. 2. “Im Achzigsten Stockwerk”, a one-of-a-kind psych-funk groover. You can listen to both tracks on youtube. Original stereo pressing on the red deep-grooved DECCA/stern musik-label, SLK 16633-P. Beautiful, fully laminated POP-Art/psych cover.

Condition: the record looks mint- to mint-- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks ex+ under a very strong halogen lamp. It plays in mint- nearly all of the time, the only exception is the short spoken intro of ”Wieviele Menschen Waren Glücklich...” wich has just a few tics behind the music. The rest of the whole LP (including “Im Achzigsten Stockwerk” ) plays in mint-.

The fully laminated cover shows just a hint of slightest shelfwear, I've rarely seeen it in such excellent condition, all seams/spine are intact with just a hint of slightest rub in 2 tiny spots, front & back are fine with just ca. 3 light scuffs (pl. see detail-photo), the lamination is intact; overall mint--/ex++.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- bis mint-- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie ex+ aus. Sie spielt fast durchgehend in mint-, die einzige Ausnahme ist das kurze gesprochene Intro von ”Wieviele Menschen Waren Glücklich...”, hier sind ein paar wenige Hintergrund-Tics zu hören. Der Rest der kompletten LP ( inklusive “Im Achzigsten Stockwerk”) spielen in mint-.

Das Cover hat nur allerleichteste Lagerspuren, habe ich selten so gut erhalten gesehen, alle Kanten sind intakt mit ganz leichtem Abrieb an 2 kleinen Stellen, Vorder- & Rückseite sind bis auf ca. 3 leichte “Schrammen” ( siehe Detail-Photo!) superschön erhalten, die Laminierung ist intakt; insgesamt in mint--/ex++.

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
